Pivot System:

．Others: One Pivot Point system creates a very unstable structure. Test the stability of the structure by leaning on the console or pulling up on the handlebar. You will often find that with the one pivot system, the deck and console will have a tendency to fold up or tip over.
．HealthStream: Patented track pivot system – solid and stable structure. From the feel of the rock solid stability you cannot even tell that it s a foldable treadmill.

Folding lock system:

．Others: Locking mechanism located at the side of the upright post is easily accessible to children who may inadvertently release the lock.
．HealthStream: Patented folding lock release is located at the end of the deck so that when folded, children cannot accidentally release the lock.

Transportation wheel:

．Others: Most treadmills have two small transportation wheels only. To move the treadmill, the user must tilt the treadmill and bear the weight of it while trying to maneuver the unit. This is often very difficult and a hazardous task, especially when it comes to the heavier units.

．Others: Electronic parts from various vendors while Mechanical parts are assembled in their plant. Product design and manufacturing is non-integrated. 
．HealthStream: Fully integrated design of electronics and mechanical parts. HealthStream designs, develops and assembles the entire treadmill in-house. Fully integrated system designed in house works with the mechanical platform in balanced harmony.
